The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is a centre of excellence for clinical trials, meta-analyses and epidemiological studies, strengthening and expanding the evidence base for health care nationally and internationally. We coordinate a number of high-quality trials in cancer and HIV. We also undertake research in areas such as rheumatoid arthritis, respiratory disorders, infectious diseases, and haematological disease.
