International HIV AIDS Alliance logoInternational HIV/AIDS Alliance, based in Brighton, UK is a global leader in community-based HIV/AIDS programming, technical support and policy work. The Alliance works in over 25 countries and has country offices in India, Ukraine and Zambia. It has extensive experience in managing and conducting research alone and in partnership with community organisations, international partners such as the Horizons Programme, and national in-country research institutes. Key areas of research include the involvement and engagement of communities and civil society in comprehensive treatment, care, prevention and support, with a particular focus on marginalised and vulnerable populations. These include a multi-country impact evaluation of a £15 million Gates Foundation-funded HIV/AIDS prevention project. The Alliance has a Programme Partnership Agreement with DFID.
